The successful applicant will have at least 7 years’ work experience in Digital Financial Services gathered from working in mobile money and agent network operations.


MicroSave is a market leader in providing consulting services to Mobile Network Operators (MNO’s) and Financial Service Providers (FSP’s) globally.  Our clients include leading commercial banks, telecommunication companies, SACCOs, microfinance institutions and multilateral and bi-lateral donors. With increasing demand for our services, MicroSave intends to recruit a Senior Manager (Anglophone) – Digital Financial Services to join its Training and Consulting team in Nairobi- Kenya, within the Helix Institute of Digital Finance.

Key functions will include:
  • Contribute towards the development of courses for the Helix Institute of Digital Finance
  • Deliver courses and provide technical assistance to clients of the Helix Institute in Anglophone countries
  • Effectively carry out assignments within the domain as per assigned responsibility & carry out quality control reviews
  • Participate in Human Capital Development of team members while on assignment, coach and share knowledge within the assigned team
  • Participate and contribute towards the business development and generation within the Digital Finance Domain
  • Actively engage in digital dialogues on Digital Finance
 Location:The role holder will be based in Nairobi-Kenya, but will be required to travel from time to time on work assignments locally and internationally.

Qualities & Skills: This position requires driven individuals who possess a strong desire to build a career in Digital Finance consulting.

Other relevant skills include:

  • Ability to lead assignments involving diverse project teams and to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to develop client relationships and win business
  • Ability to develop and implement training programmes as well as conduct training
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point
  • A strong field orientation and proven inter personal skills
  • Leadership skills, decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, people-management skills 
  • Excellent business writing skills for technical reports 

Education: Degree in Banking/Business Administration/Accounting/Economics or related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Business English
